How Reyahh protects your contact details
The whole point of a Reyahh tag is that a stranger can reach you without collecting anything about you. This page describes exactly what is visible after a scan, what is not, and which switches you control.
Never shown after a scan
- Your email address.
- Your home address. The delivery address on your original order stays with support and is not printed on the product or stored on the tag.
- Your phone number, unless you deliberately switch it on for that one tag.
Everything starts switched off
A new tag shows nothing except the fact that it is active and what kind of item it is on. You decide, per tag, whether to show your name, whether to show a phone number, and whether the optional extras are available at all.
Tags do not share settings. What you show on the car has no effect on the luggage tag, and switching one off leaves the others working.
The medical card is optional and conditional
If you choose to fill in a medical card, it does not appear during an ordinary scan. It only becomes visible after someone reports an accident or a medical emergency, and only the specific fields you ticked as shareable, such as blood type, an allergy, or a short note.
This is a way to pass on information you would want a bystander to have. It is not a medical record and not a substitute for calling an ambulance.
The emergency contact is requested, not displayed
You can save the number of someone close to you. It is never printed on the tag and never shown on the scan page. In a serious situation the person scanning can request it, once per phone.
You get a notification that someone asked, and 90 seconds to refuse. If you refuse, the number stays hidden and that phone cannot ask again. If you let the window pass without refusing, the number is shown so they can call.
You can block anyone
If someone sends nuisance alerts, block them from the alert itself. That phone cannot send you alerts or request your emergency contact again, and any pending request is refused. The tag carries on working for everyone else, and you can remove the block later.
What the person scanning gives up
Nothing they are not asked for. They do not create an account and do not enter a phone number to report something. Sharing their location is a choice on the page, not a requirement, and you only see a pin if they agreed to send one.
Common questions
- Can I show my phone number if I want to?
- Yes. It is a switch on each tag, off by default. Turn it on for one tag and leave it off for the others, and turn it off again at any time.
- Does Reyahh track where my car is?
- No. A tag is a printed code, not a tracker. Location only ever appears when a person who scanned the tag chooses to send the spot they are standing in with their report.
- What happens to a tag I stop using?
- Switch it off in the app. It stops accepting reports immediately and anyone who scans the code sees that the tag is inactive.
